EVU is a global network of EV users, ambassadors, and with industrial members from the value chain of E-mobility. EVU is registered as a Foundation with the purpose of promoting renewable energy for transport and human civilization in general.

Smart Living
Zero emission transport is a realistic option for all kind of vehicles by using electric motors driven by stored renewable energy in the vehicle batteries and stationary house batteries. In the future - all buildings will be able to produce renewable energy to cover all or a part of the energy needed for living and transport.
The long term sustainable solution is to harvest energy and electricity from renewable energy sources like wind, hydro, solar, wawes and bio energy. Smart Living is to also produce renewable energy on buildings in combination with centralized power plants and to connect everything together with a smart grid. Both heat/cooling and electricity can be produced in homes, offices and on industrial sites like factories and public buildings.
Around 70% of all energy needs are related to buildings and transport and the Smart Living concept is to integrate vehicles to smart buildings and use the connected EV batteries for more than mobility if/when it is needed.
In a normal household the EVs will be used during daytime for work, shopping and leisure activities. The building itself should therefore be able to store sunshine and wind during daytime and be used for recharging the vehicles when they arrive back from operation during the evening and night.
Smart bidirectional chargers could be able to charge the vehicles faster when we combine stored energy with power from the grid, and the houses and cars could if needed sell back electricity to the grid during peak hours.
EVU members are developing a complete new range of smart solutions and technology to be integrated into existing and new buildings making emobility the smartest and cheapest way of living for the global human civilization.
Air Pollution
Airpollution from burning of fossile fuel, stationary and in internal combustion engines (ICE cars) are the main explanation for health diseases like heart attacks, lung disease, cancer and asthmatic and allergic reactions.
The air pollution is at the same time causing global effects of global warming - making the planet earth ecological system unstable. In the long term - global warming my lead to severe living conditions for humans and all living creatures. The scientific evidence leaves no longer an excuse for delaying a rapid shift away from fossile fuel to renewable energy solutions and both the governments, industry, NGOs and the global civilization of humans are about to understand the need for change.
The European Environmental Agency (EEA) have calculated the health costs of airpollution to 100 billion Euro every year in Europe.
Electric Vehicles driven by renewable energy is the smart way to remove airpollution and increase the quality of life on the planet.
Smart EV Policy
Norway is the leading country on earth on smart EV Policy development. With a population of just 5 million people - allmost 50 000 EVs is allready in daily use by the Norwegians, number one on earth per capita and number three in real numbers. This small country is the biggest producer of renewable electricity in Europe with less than 1% electricity produced from fossile fuel. Norway is the country to follow - the people of Norway has shown the world that it is possible to establish a market for EVs by using the full potential of democrazy and governmental tools to make that happen.
The new car sale in Norway is now between 15-20% with a global world record of 70% in Finnøy - an island near Bryne on the west coast in the southern part of Norway.
Norwegian EV incentives has been developed during the last 25 years by a smart people and a smart democracy.
The Polluter Pay Principle is an invention of the former Prime MInister of Norway, Gro Harlem Brundtland as leader of the United Nation World Commission for Sustainable Development.
The Polluter Pay Principle is used as the foundation for the Norwegian car policy. When you purchase a polluting car - hight taxes will be payed. If you purchase a zero emission car - no taxes will be added to the price of the car. In 1999 Norway also removed VAT from EVs. Free parking, access to the buslane and no road taxes for zero emission has been implemented.
The Norwegian EV policy is about to be revised when 50 000 EVs are registered. This will happen within some weeks and the focus of EVU will be to ensure that the Norwegian Parliament do not weaken the EV policy. EVs needs to be implemented as buses, taxies, heavy duty vehicles and delivery vans. Only 2% of the cars are zero emission. A next to 100% solution is needed and a 2030 target should be established this spring.
